We live in a diverse community with a broad range of interests and learning needs. However, one in six adults living in Santa Clara County lack basic literacy skills, resulting in personal, social and economic disadvantages. The Santa Clara County Library District Foundation was formed to help SCCLD continually provide and expand services throughout our entire community. Funding from the Foundation supports district-wide services such as the Reading Program, Bookmobile, expands innovation that promotes learning and extends sevices to our under-served areas.

PLEASE NOTE:  THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT FOUNDATION EVENT SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 AT THE FOOTHILL CLUB HAS BEEN POSTPONED.

Unfortunately, some scheduling conflicts have arisen that are preventing us from creating the experience we’d like to provide to our avid library fans and supporters.  Therefore, on behalf of the committee, I would like to apologize for the cancellation.  The event will be rescheduled for a later date.  We will provide an update on our website as soon as the new date is set and we hope you can join us then.

In the meantime, please be sure to visit any of our Santa Clara County Libraries located in Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Milpitas, Morgan Hill or Saratoga, join a volunteer group with the Library, or you can make a donation towards the SCCLD Foundation on the Support page of this website.
Thank you for your continued support!
