We live in a diverse community with a broad range of interests and learning needs. However, one in six adults living in Santa Clara County lack basic literacy skills, resulting in personal, social and economic disadvantages. The Santa Clara County Library District Foundation was formed to help SCCLD continually provide and expand services throughout our entire community. Funding from the Foundation supports district-wide services such as the Reading Program, Bookmobile, expands innovation that promotes learning and extends services to our under-served areas.

Join us at the historic landmark Foothill Club and learn about the Maker Faire Movement from its founder Dave Dougherty!
