Terrie Creamer, President
Terrie is the immediate past president of the Friends of The Saratoga Libraries and advocating for library services. She volunteers at the Friends’ used book store, Book-Go-Round. She is currently President of the Saratoga Monte Sereno Community Foundation. She has served as President of the Saratoga Education Foundation, multiple PTAs, and her chapter of National Charity League. She is passionate about education, literacy, and community service.
Terrie holds an engineering degree and was an Application Engineering Manager at HP.
Linda Arbaugh, Secretary
Linda is the current president of the Milpitas Friends, and retired community librarian for Milpitas where she worked on the design of the library.
Jerry Liu, Treasurer
Jerry chairs the Cupertino Library Commission and serves as the Vice President of the Cupertino Library Foundation. He also volunteers for the Lincoln Elementary School Site Council and Lincoln Elementary PTA. He is a research manager at HP Labs supervising technology development programs.
Susan served as County Librarian from 1985 to 2002, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Joint Powers Authority District. She has served as the president of the Planetree Health Library Board of Directors.
Vicky has been active with the Friends of the Morgan Hill Library since working on the 2005 library parcel tax campaign and then continuing with the community effort for the new library which opened in 2007. She continues to serve on the Friends board in various roles and served as a liaison on the former Morgan Hill Library Foundation board. She has been a regular volunteer in the Friends bookstore and has assisted with weekly ESL Conversation Club drop-in meetings at the library since both activities started.
After holding leadership roles in tech companies, Vicky moved to a nonprofit agency to round out and complete her career experiences. Vicky holds BA and MBA degrees from Santa Clara University.
Lenelle joined the inaugural Santa Clara Library Foundation Board because she believes the library is an important community resource for learning at all ages. She is currently a board member of the Los Altos Library Endowment (LALE) and has previously served three terms as its president and volunteers on a weekly basis in the Friends Café. Lenelle has also served on the Los Altos Library Commission and the North County Library Authority.
In addition to her Library activities, Lenelle is a member of the American Marketing Association, and Phi Beta Kappa Northern California Association.
During a 35-year career in Marketing and Communications, Lenelle worked for DuPont, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, New York, and was a Vice President at ad agency D’Arcy-Masius, Benton & Bowles, Bloomfield Hills, MI. When she returned to California in 2003, she retired from her company, Smith Communications.
Lenelle has a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Missouri and an MBA from New York University.
