In partnership with local agencies like Second Harvest Food bank, the Bookmobile would have a special summer schedule making 8 stops weekly to low income schools and neighborhoods bringing in a nutritious brunch, story time and materials to check out.

The program would allow for 64 stops over the out-of-school time to bring food, books, programs and support to keep kids reading and learning over the summer.  Staff would include 20 hours per week for 8 weeks for each position.  Fortunately, this program is already funded for the summer of 2017.
